Minister Kacır said, “We continue our work on establishing the Ceramic Specialized Organized Industrial Zone in Pazaryeri district.”

UNICERA International Ceramics, Bathroom, Kitchen Fair brought together more than 1,200 brands and industry representatives. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, who attended the opening of the fair, stated in his speech that the ceramics industry has received its share of the production move in the last 22 years and said, "Last year, our ceramics industry added value to Turkey with a production of 2.5 billion dollars and exports of over 1.3 billion dollars.

Today, we rank 3rd in Europe and 10th in the world in the production of ceramic coating materials. We are the 3rd largest exporter in Europe and the 5th largest exporter in the world in ceramic tiles, the 2nd largest exporter in Europe in ceramic sanitary ware, and the 9th largest exporter in the world in ceramic tableware and ornaments.

I congratulate our companies that successfully represent our country in global markets for their success. We established two OIZs specifically for the ceramic industry in Kütahya and Yozgat to provide our entrepreneurs with ready-made, planned and sustainable production facilities.

We continue our efforts to establish the Ceramic Specialized Organized Industrial Zone in Bilecik's Pazaryeri district. We have issued incentive certificates for 517 investments in the ceramics industry in the last 22 years, with a total fixed investment of 138 billion lira.

We paved the way for 39 thousand qualified employment. "In this regard, we offer the opportunity to benefit from our R&D incentives to 15 R&D, 4 design centers and 18 technopark companies that have undertaken innovative projects in the ceramics and refractories industry," he said.
